The General Warehouse - Sorter / Material Handler will be responsible for breaking down pallets, gaylords, carts, and bins of electronic assets; separating them into their commodity areas.
This a labor-intensive position lifting printers, computers, servers, etc.
from Receiving and moving them to the next step in the ITAD/recycling process.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years' work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility, be able to pass a full background check, be able to lift at least a minimum of 50 lbs.
, and must be punctual.
This role will report to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities:
o Manual palletizing of equipment.
o Unpack and assess incoming assets for possible resale or recycling and move assets through our production process with both care and speed.
o May require use of computers, emails, scanners, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
o Organize the warehouse space, including sweeping and recycling/trash removal.
o Assist other warehouse staff as needed.
Education:
